Body Lotion

Photobucket
Top of the morning to you, my fellow readers. It's been about 2 weeks now since I started to use the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Dry Skin Relief (right). It's actually a lotion. I apply it every night after I shower to ensure the moisture is locked in. Also, it's advisable to put any skin care product straight after you shower and towel dry your body. This is because, products are more easily absorbed into your skin after a warm shower.

The consistency of this product somewhat thick and has quite a strong smell of tea tree oil. The smell will disappear soon enough because your nose will get use to any smell that you whiff for long. The product is visibly white and have to be rubbed a few times before the lotion sink into the skin. I bought it around the price of RM35-45. It's quite worth it because the product can last you for a couple of months.

Here's the list of ingredients:
Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Jice, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Stearic Acid, Melaleuca Aternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Xantham Gum. Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Lavandua Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Linalool, Limonene.

This lotion has really helped the dry areas on my arms and my elbows. I use to have dry and flaky skin around my upper arm due to consistent itchiness at that area. Although the dry spots didn't heal completely just yet, that area is noticeably smoother and less dry compared to before. Furthermore, my skin is prone to breakouts. But with this lotion, it has made some parts of my skin smoother and did not have any reaction to my skin. Yay!

Update 8/12/12: I am still using this body lotion. If I am not mistaken, it is like my 4th or 5th bottle.
